ABOUT NEWCASTLE NIGHTHAWKS KORFBALL SOCIETY
We started off in September 2017 and in our first year finished runners up in the BUCS National Plate and are finding our feet in the NEKA League where we got the nomination for CERL promotion in 2018. This year we have entered two teams into BUCS and can't wait to get started! New members are welcome whenever and if you have any questions then please fell free to get in touch. FAQS
WHAT IS KORFBALL?
Korfball is a mixed gender sport that is a cross between netball and basketball. The aim is to score more points than the other team. Each game lasts for an hour with 30 minute halves.
WHERE ARE WE?
We train on for fun on Sundays 4-6:30pm at Newcastle Uni Sports Centre and the 1st team or those looking for a more competitive session train on Saturday mornings 5-6pm
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The first two sessions are absolutely free! After that membership for the year will cost £30.
